Reflections is a national PTA program that encourages students to create art. In its 40-year history, millions of children and youth have participated. Students first compete locally, with winners advancing to state and national competitions.

2013 Reflections Cultural Arts Competition Winners from Seattle Public Schools:

Wonderful news: We have 2 winners for Outstanding Interpretation whose work will go on to the National level. Congratulations Olivia and Tigerlily, and good luck!!! All of the work of our 5 students who were selected for recognition at the State level will be displayed at the Washington State PTA Convention, May 3, 4 & 5, 2013 at the Bellevue Hyatt Hotel. • Literature/Primary: Olivia T. (Loyal Heights) -- Outstanding Interpretation for Grandpa and Me on the Beach
• Music/High School: Tigerlily C. (Ingraham) -- Outstanding Interpretation for Look at the Stars
• Photography/High School: Michelle T. (Nathan Hale) – Award of Excellence for Whirlwind
• Photography/Middle School: Max H. (Hamilton) -- Award of Merit for The Sea of Hands
• Dance/High School: Gina L. (Nathan Hale) -- Award of Merit for Magical Possession
